Melissa has been a plus-size model for the past nine years. She travels from New York to Chicago to model, and still continues to take personal time to spend in Ohio at her boutique as well. She loves the personal experience of being able to keep in touch with her customers she has known for so many years. She is a print model as well as runway, and has worked for national magazines like Glamour, Mode, & BBW, worked with countless designers such as Tommy Hilfiger, Emme,  and Liz Claiborne and  worked for companies such as Revlon, Nordstrom's, Sak's, and Bloomingdale's.  She has also made appearances as a model on national television and is now a spokes model for the Jane Iredale Cosmetics line. Melissa is  represented by Elite Model Management.
